In the kitchen, Mattern drums up farmers market-driven dishes for brunch (pumpkin pancakes), lunch (roasted parsnip soup), and dinner (wood-grilled duck breast). On bread and pastry duty, fellow AOC alum Jullapat turns out brioche buns, spelt pretzels, and butter-centric desserts (hazelnut cake, cranberry crunch). I was indecisive already. Awesome. But my server, again friendly, which is always a plus, recommended the 2010 Lambrusco Frizzante Pronto. Go for their twist on authentic Italian food complete with an awesome meet and cheese selection and some really delicious handmade pizzas. Their wine list is composed of mostly Italian wines and their bar is limited to wine and beer only. Definitely worth a visit."
